Not as nice as advertised online, both in terms of accommodation quality, cleanliness, and overall vibe. The Instagram presence sells a cool, social atmosphere that isn’t really there — it mostly seems to be the volunteers socialising among themselves, rather than an inclusive guest experience. Cleanliness was a major issue throughout our stay. The kitchen was extremely dirty, with flies everywhere, cats on the counters and going through trash. While the hostel frequently replies to reviews emphasising cleanliness, this doesn’t appear to have been meaningfully addressed. A business cannot rely solely on guests to maintain hygiene — if this fails, staff should ensure shared spaces are properly cleaned for the next paying guest. The reliance on volunteers noticeably affects the atmosphere. Cleanliness felt superficial, and communication in the WhatsApp group came across as passive-aggressive (e.g. messages about leftover food, kitchen cleanliness and hair dryers). The overall vibe felt more like a student accommodation than a professionally run hostel. The location is nice if you want somewhere remote and quiet. However, during several days of heavy rain there was no covered communal space apart from the kitchen, so guests were mostly stuck in their tiny dorms. Quiet time is officially 11pm, but this wasn’t enforced. On Friday night, volunteers were hosting a concert that continued till 1AM, when a guest complained. There is clearly effort put into organising events, but most of them were cancelled due to low interest from guests.

The Tree House is a wonderful place to stay. It's a place where you can find a balance between rest, activity, and work. There are numerous activities you're free to participate in. The volunteers are happy to guide you, and I really enjoyed the free yoga, power yoga, and sunrise yoga led by experienced volunteers. The Tree House has a large kitchen where you can cook your own meals, indulge in cooking for new friends, or... let the hostel volunteers pamper you from breakfast to dinner. For me, this hostel is fantastic, with its large, beautiful outdoor area and swimming pool, along with the fact that each room has its own bathroom. I love it and I'll be back 😉😊🥰

Best co-living / co-working hostel I've been to in Europe. The people, vibes and facilities are great. Huge shoutout to Rebecca the manager, who does an amazing job all around -> From creating the good vibe, to making sure guests have everything they need ! 100% recommend
