Stay away from Anhalt University of Applied Sciences! An absolute disaster. Unreliable, and their payment methods are basically a case for consumer protection! Everything is broken: commitments, timelines, and general deadlines, agreements, payment terms (even though the website stated payment in installments, they simply don't want to allow it), and much more. Registration at this university, enrollment, and the entire program are absolute chaos! Never again! The organization is a disaster. The semester schedule is constantly being changed at the last minute. The staff doesn't care at all about completely unnecessary costs (travel, accommodation, etc.). They have absolutely no understanding for this. The university is interested in its own profit, not in the students. Unreliable, unprofessional, irresponsible! Incredibly bad!

I studied landscape management here 32 years ago. Essentially, nothing has changed over time, except that the bamboo garden has completely escalated. 😅

The Bernburg-Strenzfeld campus of the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences is something special. There used to be a huge Junkers aircraft factory here – surrounded by greenery. Today, there's nothing left of it except for a small exhibition commemorating its history. It's really fascinating when you think about what used to happen here. These days, things are more relaxed here: modern degree programs in agriculture, the environment, nature conservation, and landscape architecture. And for international students, there are even bachelor's and MBA programs taught in English – pretty international for such a quiet corner. City life? None. But honestly, you don't need it. Here, instead of car noise, you only hear birdsong, and that has a truly relaxing effect. You can study in peace, breathe deeply, and somehow quickly unwind from everyday life. If you're interested in nature, history, and practical study, this is the place for you. No big city hustle and bustle, but a real campus atmosphere with heart.
