If you're simply looking for a desk to work on, this might be adequate. However, the space feels rather empty overall, and the fixed and flexible desks are located directly in the break room behind a partition. At lunchtime, when the room is used for breaks, you should be prepared for higher noise levels and foot traffic. The location is a plus: there's a Kaufland supermarket and other shops nearby. Soft drinks are available for €2, as is coffee from a good automatic machine. A shared SodaStream is available for sparkling water. Less than ideal is the fact that the office management is only on-site once a week. If events have taken place in between, you sometimes have to deal with other people's used coffee cups before you can make your own – unfortunately, there's no dishwasher. The desks are modern, but height-adjustable is not included in the standard price. The chairs, on the other hand, are comfortable and ergonomic. There's no air conditioning; the fixed and flexible desk area gets noticeably hot, especially in summer. Anyone looking for a coworking space to work among other people will likely be disappointed here. Apart from lunchtime, there was hardly anyone there during my stay, and staff – as mentioned – are only on-site once a week.

The positive first: worqs offers an attractively priced solution for entrepreneurs, freelancers and home workers who are looking for a change of scenery, a “permanent office” or a business address with loading capacity. With business address, 24-hour access to the premises and optionally bookable services (meeting room, lockable roll container). The conditions are unbeatable compared to local comparison offers. I used the “Business Office 365” member tariff, which runs for one year and includes a business address, post office box and access to the Flex Office area if required. Coffee included, WiFi and printer use possible. In principle everything is fine at the beginning. Negative aspects and experiences: The Flex Office area was restricted over the course of the membership to the detriment of all Flexoffice members and was reduced to the “Coworking Café”. From a spatial perspective, a reduction of 50 percent at the Düren location. There are several tables and chairs available in the coworking cafe, which in my opinion serve as seating for a coffee, a snack or for chatting with other coworkers. However, concentrated and ergonomic work is not possible there. The information about the room reduction came on the last day I had the opportunity to cancel. There was no concession or offer. The key handover was on March 22nd. Since then, despite contacting us several times, the key deposit has not been repaid. According to the latest information from... May 24th Should I have “a little bit of patience” because this will be transferred “once per billing cycle” and my refund will “in any case be included”. As of today, June 21st. there is still no payment visible. Conclusion: Price for original service TOP, dealing with members or former members FLOP. If I need a local address again, I would turn to another provider. Update 07/10/24: The repayment is still not visible. There is no longer any response to my contacts. I have now written it off and wish the worqs team all the best for the future.

Adaptability is at the core of coworking, so membership options are always designed to cater to your changing work requirements and team dynamics. Most spaces offer month-to-month memberships, enabling you to adjust your workspace to your changing needs. Whether your business is growing or downsizing – or you just want to upgrade to a more private setting – you always have the flexibility to make the changes you need.
While your membership agreement may have specific terms regarding changes, don’t hesitate to reach out to Worqs to discuss accommodating your adjustments.
For spontaneous collaboration and interaction, open desks provide an open and flexible environment. If you prefer a dedicated space with shared community elements, dedicated desks offer a great balance between personal space and interaction.
On the other hand, private offices are best suited for focused work and private interactions. They're ideal for solo workers as well as teams seeking a dedicated space, shielded from distractions.
Choosing the ideal coworking arrangement for you is about aligning your workspace with your work style, team dynamics, and project requirements.
Whether you're a day pass holder or a monthly member, you can access most amenities. Meeting rooms do require prior scheduling, and private offices are reserved for those with subscriptions. However, the lounge, kitchen, and breakout spaces are open to all. Complimentary services are also available regardless of membership tier, while ancillary services can be purchased separately or negotiated with Worqs.
If you’re seeking flexible access, the monthly membership at Im Oberdorf 32 provides 24/7 access to our workspace. Hourly and day passes, however, are typically limited to regular business hours.
