The Unperfekthaus in Essen is located in Essen's city center, near Limbecker Platz! The Unperfekthaus has seven floors, a rooftop terrace, and an area of 5,000 square meters. The building, formerly a monastery, has been open since 2004! Entry costs €7, including unlimited coffee and soft drinks. For an additional €18.50, you can enjoy the buffet all day. Hot meals are served at the Unperfekthaus from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The Unperfekthaus in Essen is open Monday to Thursday from 8 am to 10 pm, on Fridays from 8 am to 11 pm, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:30 am to 10 pm or 11 pm. Please check the website for opening hours, as the Unperfekthaus is closed on some public holidays! The Unperfekthaus in Essen offers art, music, a restaurant, a hotel, co-working spaces, seminar and event rooms, stages, and much more. For example, you can rent or buy musical instruments with a deposit.

Das Unperfekthaus ist einer meiner liebsten Orte im Essen. Wir treffen uns zum DnD spielen, das Personal ist unsagbar lieb. Ich liebe das "Sortiere Chaos", die Bilder, die Wände, diesen ganz eigenen Charme den das Unperfekthaus Haus hat. Man fühlt sich wirklich, wirklich wohl und willkommen, egal wer man ist und was macht macht. Ich habe das Gefühl, dass die Gäste deshalb genauso freundlich und offen sind, wie das Unperfekthaus selbst. Für 7€ so lange bleiben können, wie man möchte (innerhalb der Öffnungszeiten natürlich) und eine Vielzahl an Heiß und Kalt Getränke bekommen ist mega gut für Studenten. Ganz viel Liebe geht raus an das Unperfekthaus

The entrance is not wheelchair accessible. The elevator is too narrow and the door too heavy. There are many stairs and obstacles between doors. A wheelchair-accessible toilet is available.

I love Unperfekthaus and am a huge fan of the whole concept. The creative and welcoming atmosphere in the heart of Essen's city center is an ideal place to relax, eat, and even work. The "UPH" premises are not only perfect for workshops and team-building activities, but also for relaxed work on a laptop or tablet. Especially when you need a creative boost to develop new ideas, I highly recommend a work session at this location! I've spent time at the "UPH" several times myself and often found myself working there in a relaxed atmosphere. You won't want for anything! But the "UPH" is also a place to feel good in your free time. Stimulating conversations with friends, high-quality visual impressions, and good food are some of my own personal memories associated with this very special place. For a fixed price, you get an all-you-can-drink beverage package that includes all hot drinks (from coffee to tea). I find that particularly fair, especially considering the price increases in other cafes. For a total of €25, you not only get the aforementioned unlimited drinks package, but also a hot buffet at lunchtime and in the evenings. Absolutely fair, in my opinion! Admittedly, you have to spend quite a bit of time at "UPH" for the price to really be worth it. But that's not difficult, thanks to the numerous leisure activities on offer. And as mentioned above: spending a full workday here isn't a disaster either. I would highly recommend this place anytime, especially because of the open and tolerant atmosphere, which seems to be declining these days.
