Also wir mussten mehrmals Zimmer wechseln da die Zimmer davor für ein 5 Sterne Hotel ziemlich schäbig waren! Allerdings muss ich sagen dass der Service und Freundlichkeit hervorzuheben ist! Umgekehrt verlange ich aber auch bei einem 5 Sterne Hotel in München dass ich nicht 3 mal Zimmer wechseln muss bis ich zufrieden bin! Der Lounge Bereich ist was Essen angeht auch ziemlich auf 3 Sterne Niveau… Im Gesamtpaket es gibt gute und schlechte Zimmer! Der Service und Freundlichkeit ist sehr gut sowie dass Frühstück auch, ansonsten halt ziemlich altbacken und Renovierungsbedürftig… in meinen Augen auf jeden Fall kein 5 Sterne Hotel!

How can this place be classified as a 5-star hotel? Old rooms, the persistent "rotten" odour from the air-conditioning system, the food quality is poor, and the staff are unpleasant.

Completely convincing Our first stay at the Westin Grand Munich – we were previously regular guests at a large hotel near the English Garden (Hilton) for many years – and we are very satisfied. The breakfast is outstanding: extremely extensive, high-quality, and there's a separate, quiet area for Club guests, which we found very pleasant. The Club Lounge particularly impressed us: a magnificent view over the city, a relaxed atmosphere, and exceptionally friendly, attentive staff. You truly feel welcome here. The wellness and fitness area also leaves nothing to be desired: beautiful swimming pool saunas at 60 and 90 degrees Celsius, plus a steam room large, very well-equipped fitness room All in all, a completely convincing stay. The hotel fully won us over – we will definitely be back in April.

Check-in staff are not professional or bright. Room service at night is not Westin quality and lack basics. Rooms are dated but well insulated. SPA is 3 star hotel quality. In general the rooms are dated but well built. What lacks here is service and Westin quality. I would call it a stable 3 star or a lower end 4 star hotel.
