My personal experience with Clubhouse Berlin unfortunately turned sour once I moved out. I was told by the management my deposit (equating 3 months rent - several thousand Euros) would be returned within 2 months, as there were no issues with the apartment at the move out inspection. This was 5 months ago. Meanwhile, I contacted them various times via email and phone. They never questioned my claim - however, personally, it seemed like there were using were stalling tactics, they would be "processing" my case. until they stopped replying altogether and ghosted me. I heard from similar cases from other tenants, so in my personal impression, this unfortunately does not appear to me as an outlier. Be careful who you give your money to in this dire Berlin housing market - you may not receive it back.

Clubhouse was my home for the past 3 years. I had the best time there, made great friends, it’s in the perfect location very convenient especially if you’re new to Berlin and need a social life.

I have been living in the Clubhouse for over 3 years now and still think it is the best co-living option in Berlin. My neighbours are very international, often work in start-ups themselves and do a lot together on the weekends. In addition to the living rooms in the individual apartments, we also have access to a large penthouse with kitchen, desks and terraces that everyone can use and that offers a wonderful view of Berlin landmarks.
