I generally like staples as a company, but I did not have a good experience at this location in particular. I went in there to inquire about a print, and when I was redirected to the printing & service section (by the only friendly and professional employee in the store), the staff at the printing services aisle made me feel incredibly stupid and like I was being judged. I had a few questions, and the first employee walked away after our initial interaction to never be seen again. When I asked someone else, I asked for printing on A4 paper. That staff member unkindly said that North America uses Letter paper, as if it was my first day on Earth. The difference between A4 and Letter is negligible and generally, when you’re living in Canada where British and American vernacular are interchangeable, you can infer that someone asking for A4 would be content with Letter-sized paper. After this interaction, I did not want to continue with their service as frankly, I felt like I was being judged for the term that I used. This may seem like a small thing; however, to me, it felt like a micro aggression, which I did not appreciate. I am Canadian and Toronto is a multicultural city. If I felt like I was being judged for the terms I used, knowing the difference, I can’t imagine how someone new to Canada would feel. The staff here need to work on their professionalism and tone when speaking to customers. I do not expect a lengthy conversation with workers; however, at the bare minimum, I expect professionalism, which is not provided at this particular location.

The perfect co-working space! I organized a co-working day for a few team members from my company and it was everything we were looking for -- clean, great desk space, a variety of seating options (eg a couch area, a kitchen with seating, etc). Aniket in particular was so helpful and accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure we had a good experience. We'll definitely be coming back! :)

Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.
It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with Staples Studio, who is more than happy to help out.

Most coworking space amenities are open to all members, regardless of the membership plan. Complimentary amenities are also available to all, while ancillary services can be purchased or negotiated individually with Staples Studio.
