Horrible service. The staff are unresponsive and visibly checked out. Extremely overpriced, and management doesn't care enough to keep the kitchen or washrooms clean. In the 4-5 months we had a private office, the power went out mid-meeting multiple times, our rate was hiked significantly with little notice, and the app failed to open the doors half the time. There are far better options out there. No business should consider this place. And they need to fix their many problems.

Spaces Yorkville is holding my retainer for the office. They kicked me out and are holding my retainer. I am fighting to get my retainer back also on top of being kicked out of the office. Be aware to everyone at the center, make sure to be on top of your retainer and I would not give them even 1$ as a retainer. Fight your way to get an office without a retainer because it will be held up from you getting it back.

I reviewed previous negative reviews about how difficult it is to cancel this contract, and I honestly did not believe them, until now. During the sales process, the sales person was extremely responsive. The system worked perfectly when it came to upselling. However, once an issue arose, everything changed. I have been calling and texting the sales person for weeks with no response whatsoever. I canceled my account in August, yet here we are in April, and I am still being charged. At this point, I have been charged over $2,000, and no one has provided a solution or taken responsibility. This feels like an absolute trap. I never thought I would be in this situation, but I am still being charged three months after cancellation, with no support and no accountability from management. Please DO NOT fall for them, industrious is much better (even wework is better).

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Storage in coworking spaces can be limited, with most of it reserved for members with dedicated desks and private offices. However, you can reach out to the coworking operator using the form on the right side of the page to see what options are currently available.

  • The open desk is the way to go if you’re looking for a flexible workspace in an open environment where you can socialize with other members. Or, choose a dedicated desk if you want a designated space that also allows you to keep in touch with the community.

A private office works wonders if you or your team need a quiet, secluded space to conduct your work and interact with people in your organization.

It’s important to understand the different types of coworking arrangements available to you, depending on the type of work that you do and its duration, and whether you’re a solo worker or part of a team.

  • Want to get a feel for the workspace before signing up? Schedule a tour to experience Spaces - Yorkville and envision your workday in this dynamic environment. All you need to do is fill out this form, indicating your preferred date and time, and we'll be happy to host you.

  • Whether you're a day pass holder or a monthly member, you can access most amenities. Meeting rooms do require prior scheduling, and private offices are reserved for those with subscriptions. However, the lounge, kitchen, and breakout spaces are open to all. Complimentary services are also available regardless of membership tier, while ancillary services can be purchased separately or negotiated with Spaces.

  • Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.

It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with Spaces, who is more than happy to help out.
