Working with Regus has been one of the most stressful and disappointing professional experiences. In all honesty, I have never worked with a worse company. They are highly unethical in the way that they run their business, discriminate and engage in harassment, and are inappropriate and insensitive in the way they communicate. I would not recommend signing a contract with them for office space. To exemplify, I joined them 6 months ago in a different building. I initially rented month to month and from the start, was promised things (e.g., furniture) that was not delivered, even after months of following up. When I moved to the Toronto street building, the same thing happened. I was told I would have a fully furnished office with furnishing I had chosen; I arrived to an empty space. It took 3-4 months to get the furniture, and not without a lot of struggle. Frequent emails and follow ups, and very little care received. To make matters worse, I was billed repetitively (and late fined!) for a deposit I had already paid 5-6 months earlier. They continued to say they would deal with it, but didn't. I was harassed regularly with these overdue fear- eliciting emails (“we will send collectors after you”) and my distress in receiving them was of little concern. On top of this, I have paid my rent every month on time, and continue to get bills for things that they themselves are unable to explain. Charges that they don’t explain, that they agree to waive and then charge you again. Four times, the same charge, despite having a default credit card on file and everything paid on time. After months of this, I have becoming progressively more upset, and they have been washing their hands of it. My human distress has been treated as "an inconvenience" and the dismissal of my needs leaves me without comprehension. I have even had to cancel my credit card in order to deal with an inappropriate charge from them (which they had agreed to waive but didn’t). So while I am dealing with the hassle of getting a new credit card, they charge me again! When I have tried to follow up with this, they ignore emails. All this from a multibillion dollar multinational corporation that will not even provide coffee or printing without charging (more than a coffee shop and more than a print shop). What I asked for was a private, quiet office to do my work as a psychologist. What I have received is a lot of stress, discrimination, harassment, dismissal, intimidation and negligence. I have been inappropriately touched by other clients (who didn’t know me and did not have my consent to put their hands on me), I have been condescended to repetitively, and have noticed how frequently other paying clients are gossiped about for their respective disabilities and idiosyncrasies; it is not an emotionally safe working environment. They frequently use fear tactics to get what they want (the roots of terror-ism by definition), engage in a lot lip service, and their use of intimidation and dismissal of client distress has been very upsetting. I want nothing more than to be let out of this lease but they keep you trapped. I know that I am not the first to complain about these things, and in fact see a long line of people saying similar things for their different locations. I suppose that is the strongest testament to how this company works.

Working with Regus has been one of the most stressful and disappointing professional experiences. They are highly unethical in the way that they run their business, discriminate against neuroatypicals (neuroableism), and are inappropriate and insensitive in the way they communicate. I would not recommend signing a contract with them for office space. I joined them 6 months ago in a different building. I initially rented month to month and from the start, was promised things (e.g., furniture) that was not delivered. When I moved to this building, the same thing happened. They continued to say they would deal with it, but didn't. I was harassed regularly with these overdue (or "we will chase you") emails and my distress in receiving them was of little concern. I have paid my rent every month on time, and continue to get bills for things that they themselves are unable to explain. After months of this, I have becoming progressively more upset, and they have been washing their hands of it. My human distress has been treated as "an inconvenience" and the dismissal of my needs leaves me without comprehension. I have even been billed for having the SAME credit card on file, as it was cancelled in order to deal with another inappropriate charge from them (which they had agreed to waive). So while I am dealing with the hassle of getting a new credit card, they charge me again. All I asked for and have paid for was a private, quiet office to do my work as a psychologist. What I have received is a lot of stress, discrimination, harassment, dismissal, intimidation and negligence. I even had their receptionist, Sumaiiya (Maya), tell me I was using "my disability" as an excuse around my struggle with the noise (after having known me for about 2-3 weeks). I know that I ma not the first to complain about these things, and in fact see a long line of people saying similar things for their different locations. I suppose that is the strongest testament to how this company works.

Working with Regus has honestly been the most disappointing, unprofessional, unethical and stressful experience. I would not recommend that anyone sign a contract with them for an office space. I joined them over 6 months ago in a different building. I initially rented month to month and from the start , was promised furniture that was not present in the office. I had to scramble when I got there to put together something that was workable. When I moved to a new building (Toronto street) due to noise issues at the other one, the same thing happened. I signed a one year lease, which I now regret (as they don’t let you out of their contracts!), was promised a fully furnished office that i picked items out for months earlier, and paid a 1500 deposit. I arrived to an empty office and had to wait 3 months to get what I had promised, after much back and forth, chasing people, fighting bills, and dealing with unhelpful and often rude and dismissive representatives. To make matters worse, I was billed (and late fined!) for a deposit I had paid 5- 6 months earlier. A multinational corporation, with a computer system that isn’t able to transfer internally a deposit from one site to another! And that continues to harass and send overdue(!) notices to people for money they have ALREADY paid. It took 3-4 months to get this sorted out. Then, when you express human emotions of stress and distress, they make you feel like you are a problem and inconvenient to them. For months, all I received were empty responses and undelivered promises. I was even billed an extra charge for not having the SAME credit card on file, as I had to cancel it to deal with another inappropriate charge from them. So while I am dealing with the hassle of getting a new credit card to deal with contesting one of their charges (which they agreed to waive), they charge me again, even though I paid my rent on time! It is literally the definition of insanity. All I asked for was a private, quiet, judgement free office space. I have received the opposite of this. I do not feel safe there. I can also see I am not the first to complain about these things with thus company. Even the receptionists complain to clients about management and how things are run. I continue to feel stressed every time I walk in there, and am stuck in 100 square feet for the rest of the year.
