If you're considering working with this venue for events, I’d recommend being mindful of communication expectations with Amy. My experience included slow responses and a tone that felt dismissive, passive aggressive, which made the process more difficult than it needed to be.

This is a great co-working space with a genuine, lively sense of community at times. There are some really interesting, values-driven members. But if you are neurodivergent, disabled or have strong anti-oppressive values, I don’t think the staff or volunteers are equipped to resolve difficult conflicts or issues that arise. It’s a bit toxic, ableist.

Stopped by CSI Spadina ready to join. Grumpy front desk told us to “check the website” and refused a 2-minute tour while they chatted. We took the time to come in and no one showed us the space. Not a good first impression.

If you’re seeking flexible access, the monthly membership at Centre for Social Innovation - Murray Building provides 24/7 access to our workspace. Hourly and day passes, however, are typically limited to regular business hours.
