This is a great co-working space with a genuine, lively sense of community at times. There are some really interesting, values-driven members. But if you are neurodivergent, disabled or have strong anti-oppressive values, I don’t think the staff or volunteers are equipped to resolve difficult conflicts or issues that arise. It’s a bit toxic, ableist.

Stopped by CSI Spadina ready to join. Grumpy front desk told us to “check the website” and refused a 2-minute tour while they chatted. We took the time to come in and no one showed us the space. Not a good first impression.

A great space with a great purpose. I was recently there for the "We Create Our Futures" event which was like a solar Punk exhibition, experience, and exploration.

Beautiful coworking space. The layout is comfy and relaxing. I have met kind people here and this location has access to the Tool Library.

We're very lucky to have such lovely smart defenders of Toronto's green spaces. 🌿🕊🏢🍁
Whether you're a day pass holder or a monthly member, you can access most amenities. Meeting rooms do require prior scheduling, and private offices are reserved for those with subscriptions. However, the lounge, kitchen, and breakout spaces are open to all. Complimentary services are also available regardless of membership tier, while ancillary services can be purchased separately or negotiated with Centre for Social Innovation.
Adaptability is at the core of coworking, so membership options are always designed to cater to your changing work requirements and team dynamics. Most spaces offer month-to-month memberships, enabling you to adjust your workspace to your changing needs. Whether your business is growing or downsizing – or you just want to upgrade to a more private setting – you always have the flexibility to make the changes you need.
While your membership agreement may have specific terms regarding changes, don’t hesitate to reach out to Centre for Social Innovation to discuss accommodating your adjustments.
Coworking spaces typically have limited storage options, most of which are reserved for members with dedicated desks or private offices. With that said, it’s best to contact the coworking operator directly via the form on the right side of the page to learn about available storage options.
For spontaneous collaboration and interaction, open desks provide an open and flexible environment. If you prefer a dedicated space with shared community elements, dedicated desks offer a great balance between personal space and interaction.
On the other hand, private offices are best suited for focused work and private interactions. They're ideal for solo workers as well as teams seeking a dedicated space, shielded from distractions.
Choosing the ideal coworking arrangement for you is about aligning your workspace with your work style, team dynamics, and project requirements.
Want to get a feel for the workspace before signing up? Schedule a tour to experience Murray Building and envision your workday in this dynamic environment. All you need to do is fill out this form, indicating your preferred date and time, and we'll be happy to host you.
