If you a writer, this is the place to be They host monthly workshops, different events, this is also a quiet space to work on whatever you need to work on. The place isn’t huge but there are two rooms, a boardroom where events tend to take place, a bathroom and a lounge The lounge is where I like to chill, when I arrive early or after the event is over Rixa is awesome. She is great, very friendly and manages the place well. The events hosted here are great, the atmosphere is nice Thanks Rixa. I was just here today. Looking forward to the June schedule release date

Frequently Asked Questions

  • With a monthly membership, Toronto Writers' Centre - 344 Bloor Street West offers 24/7 access to its workspace, allowing you to work at any hour that suits your schedule. Hourly and day passes, however, typically grant access during regular business hours only.

  • Most, if not all, amenities are available to you as a member, regardless of the type of membership. Some shared spaces, like the meeting rooms, need to be booked in advance and private offices are only available for those with a subscription. However, all the other areas, like the lounge, kitchen and breakout spaces, are usable by every member. All complimentary services are available and anything ancillary can be purchased or negotiated with Toronto Writers' Centre.

  • Adaptability is at the core of coworking, so membership options are always designed to cater to your changing work requirements and team dynamics. Most spaces offer month-to-month memberships, enabling you to adjust your workspace to your changing needs. Whether your business is growing or downsizing – or you just want to upgrade to a more private setting – you always have the flexibility to make the changes you need.

While your membership agreement may have specific terms regarding changes, don’t hesitate to reach out to Toronto Writers' Centre to discuss accommodating your adjustments.

  • Storage in coworking spaces can be limited, with most of it reserved for members with dedicated desks and private offices. However, you can reach out to the coworking operator using the form on the right side of the page to see what options are currently available.

  • For spontaneous collaboration and interaction, open desks provide an open and flexible environment. If you prefer a dedicated space with shared community elements, dedicated desks offer a great balance between personal space and interaction.

On the other hand, private offices are best suited for focused work and private interactions. They're ideal for solo workers as well as teams seeking a dedicated space, shielded from distractions.

Choosing the ideal coworking arrangement for you is about aligning your workspace with your work style, team dynamics, and project requirements.
