Avoid Spaces Ottawa. My experience has been extremely negative. The offices are currently under construction, are not directly accessible from the street, and there is no practical parking to access the entrance, only paid and expensive. The location does not match the photos used to advertise the space. My monthly account payments were made on time. The issue was a disputed security deposit that I refused to pay because, after reading numerous customer reviews, I had serious concerns about whether it would actually be returned. Despite not being behind on my monthly payments, I was contacted by a collection agency regarding this disputed amount for the remainder of the full year (about seven months left in the contract). I found this approach extremely aggressive and inappropriate, especially given that the account itself was paid up to date. Anyone considering signing with Spaces Ottawa should carefully review the contract, understand the deposit terms, and read customer reviews before committing. They are scammers just trying to collect a year worth of rent from unsuspecting people.

I was really disappointed with the contract process here. Make sure you read every single word of the contract carefully before signing. They are very aggressive and pushy during the sign-up, and their terms and conditions are horrendous and extremely unfair to the customer. The offices themselves are clean, which is a plus. However, don’t expect a quiet or peaceful working environment — it can get quite noisy. Overall, I would advise anyone considering this place to thoroughly review the contract first. The facilities are decent, but the business practices left a bad taste. Also, make sure you aware for their last money grabbing "restoration services", check if you can cancel it as they charge you per square feet.
