Here's the NFIH's first negative review: Pros: Friendly community-oriented environment. Great for networking. Cons: Substandard mail handling and deceptive practices by management. All members can use the Hub's address to receive mail. The receptionist does not take the task of mail handling seriously. Whenever I would receive mail, she would not promptly notify me. Common sense (and company policy, apparently) dictates that when mail arrives for someone, you promptly notify them (via email, for instance), especially since this is a paid service. However, this receptionist would instead wait until I physically showed up to the Hub (even if 1 day passed) and crossed paths with her before telling me I have mail; relying on nothing but her memory. She locked one of my packages in the storage cabinet behind her desk before she went home without notifying me that I had mail. I only found out by checking the tracking number and informing another staff member that I should have received something. She once opened my mail because she didn't read the shipping label, and thought it belonged to someone else. The last straw was when I received a package on Easter Monday, and the receptionist did not find it until I asked about it on Thursday. Turns out, it was delivered to the drop box for after hours deliveries and she never checked it, nor did she know where the key for it was!! Had I not asked about it, who knows how long that drop box would've remained unchecked? I would not recommend anyone send important mail to the Hub because I have very little trust in their ability to uphold a high duty of care to it. There were a total of 5 incidents of negligent mail handling I experienced before I finally called it quits here. I work in legal services so this is something I take very seriously. Imagine losing a Notice of Hearing for your client because of this type of negligence. I sent two complaints to the Office Manager during this time and all I got was empty corporate talk about how they "take this matter seriously" and "implemented clearer procedures and accountability measures." Despite being founded in 2017, it took them until 2026 to "implement clearer procedures." In other words, their protocols had been insufficient all these years. If you end up with a decent mail handling service, you can thank me for that. Now onto the deceptive practices by management: I was informed that a private office with a window was available for lease. During my inspection, I was told that the Think Tank (picture attached) was being leased by a private company but their lease would end in December 2025, and would be available starting January 2026. This was a space that was previously available to members and they could book it on an as-needed basis. Since I already have an office in Toronto, I decided to pass up the private office, which are very limited in supply, because I was under the impression that starting in January 2026, I could book the Think Tank for in-person meetings with clients in the Niagara region. This material fact made me give up my chance to lease a private office and instead sign a 6-month agreement for a hot desk membership in October 2025. To my surprise, the Hub leased the Think Tank again in 2026 to a company owned by a current Hub member without notifying us. This was the only space suitable to me for client meetings. Their Meeting Pod is too small and exposed, and their boardroom is far too big for a meeting between 2-3 people. They removed this facility once again but kept their membership price the same. In fact, their Google Maps listing still displays a photo of their Think Tank, which hasn't been available for over one year. Management has not agreed to provide any compensation or partial refund for the above matters. They only offered me a private office (no window, bad condition) at a discounted rate for ONE MONTH. It's disheartening that I have to write this review, since I met many good people at the Hub, but the way things have been handled is unacceptable.

Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.
It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with Niagara Falls Innovation Hub, who is more than happy to help out.
