I used to think the cummuni in communitech stood for community. Now I understand that it stands for communism. Susan, the person who runs the front desk, is absolutely dreadful. Dollar store cutlery, constantly running out of cups in the start up cafe and not replenishing them, turns into a sauna after 5pm, people 3D printing in enclosed spaces, quiet office spaces filled with people having open meetings, throw up on the front steps that doesn't get cleaned up ever. No number of suggestions will make them take action towards improving the space. Would not recommend.

I visit the KPC here where the doctors and nurses are amazing and go above and beyond!! Thank you for helping me be me, free from most of my pain but mostly, thank you for treating me like a human being. GRT emerge; I avoid at all cost. The emerge nurses are cold, animated and extremely rude and judgemental. They treat you like they are superior and like your the scum at the bottom of the pond!

The facilities are great. The Go To Market accelerator program was very worth while.

It's a great place for startups to start and grow. The community is amazing, and the networks are very impactful.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Storage in coworking spaces can be limited, with most of it reserved for members with dedicated desks and private offices. However, you can reach out to the coworking operator using the form on the right side of the page to see what options are currently available.

  • Communitech - 151 Charles Street West has a 24/7 availability that comes with a monthly membership. Hourly and day passes usually only allow for access during regular business hours.

  • Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.

It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with Communitech, who is more than happy to help out.

  • At Communitech - 151 Charles Street West, Private Offices and Dedicated Desks can be booked on a monthly basis.

  • Open desks may be the ideal choice if you thrive in a collaborative environment and value the opportunity to connect with fellow coworkers. Dedicated desks, on the other hand, provide a designated space with shared community amenities, catering to those who seek a balance between privacy and interaction.

For ultimate focus and private interactions, private offices are best for solo individuals and teams that seek uninterrupted productivity.

Selecting the most suitable workspace for you typically hinges on your work style and preferences, but it can also be determined by the type of work that you do, its duration, and whether you work alone or in a team.
