It was one of the most beautiful weddings I had the honour to work for. Great kitchen and bar area. Outside patio, plenty of parking.

I hosted my wedding reception for 70 guests at Westinghouse HQ/Sandford Hall this past September. The venue itself is beautiful, well-kept, and clean, with plenty of parking. We used the lobby bar area and Woodland Hall for dinner rather than the Great Hall. Correspondence leading up to the event excellent — I had many questions answered by the venue coordinator, and I really appreciated her attentiveness and communication throughout the planning process. However, there were some issues that affected the overall experience: 1) Access and entry: Anyone entering the event space is required to use a key card, this includes operating the elevator. While I was provided with one key card, there was limited communication about arranging a doorman or clear point of entry. Since I couldn’t personally let guests in throughout the evening, many were unsure how to access the venue and ended up walking around the building trying to find an entrance. 2) Security concerns: The catering company (Cater Me Please) used the loading entrance, but these doors were left open during the reception. Unfortunately, we noticed cab drivers entering from the street to use the bathrooms, and some personal items were stolen from our event area. We did pay an extra fee for a day-of wedding coordinator through the catering company (listed as a preferred vendor with previous experience at this venue) and these issues were still a concern. Overall, it’s a beautiful space, but I would recommend a better system to manage guest access and maintain security during events to ensure a smoother experience.

We just recently had our wedding here and loved the experience. It was the right combination of formal but fun we were looking for. Our guests loved the venue and not having to travel from place to place since the hall could accommodate our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Erin was great to work with. Would highly recommend choosing this hall.
Most, if not all, amenities are available to you as a member, regardless of the type of membership. Some shared spaces, like the meeting rooms, need to be booked in advance and private offices are only available for those with a subscription. However, all the other areas, like the lounge, kitchen and breakout spaces, are usable by every member. All complimentary services are available and anything ancillary can be purchased or negotiated with Branch.
