I had a dedicated desk at Galt Collective for about three months, and it was an awesome experience. The co-working space is beautifully designed, bright, modern, and full of creative energy. The people there are genuinely friendly and welcoming, which made it easy to feel part of the community right away. There’s a great mix of professionals, and everyone respects each other’s space while still being open to conversation and collaboration. And I have to mention the free coffee. It’s a small detail, but it really added to the vibe. I suggested having oat milk one day, and the very next day Eric had it stocked. That kind of responsiveness sums up the experience perfectly. Eric does an incredible job running the place. You can tell he truly cares about the community and has built something special for entrepreneurs, freelancers, and creatives in Cambridge. If you’re looking for a co-working space that combines professionalism with a relaxed, supportive atmosphere, I highly recommend checking out Galt Collective.

I started here in November as a fixed desk. Love it. Eric is amazing to deal with. The atmosphere and people make coming to work a pleasure. Great if you like playing ping pong too!

I have mostly been working from home throughout the pandemic. This is my first time trying out a co-working space in over 2 years and this place didn't fail to impress. Welcoming environment, friendly atmosphere and overall I got stuff done without any disruption. All round beautiful scenery, do check it out

I was born and raised in Cambridge and this is the most inspiring work space in the Tri-City area (Waterloo Region). I rent an office in the collective and I have met some of the most inspiring people working on the most inspiring projects and I haven't even been here for a full business quarter (3 months). This is the coolest place, with the coolest people and I can only sum it up by saying it will be your favourite place too.
135 George Street North has a 24/7 availability that comes with a monthly membership. Hourly and day passes usually only allow for access during regular business hours.
Most, if not all, amenities are available to you as a member, regardless of the type of membership. Some shared spaces, like the meeting rooms, need to be booked in advance and private offices are only available for those with a subscription. However, all the other areas, like the lounge, kitchen and breakout spaces, are usable by every member. All complimentary services are available and anything ancillary can be purchased or negotiated with Galt Collective.
The open desk is the way to go if you’re looking for a flexible workspace in an open environment where you can socialize with other members. Or, choose a dedicated desk if you want a designated space that also allows you to keep in touch with the community.
A private office works wonders if you or your team need a quiet, secluded space to conduct your work and interact with people in your organization.
It’s important to understand the different types of coworking arrangements available to you, depending on the type of work that you do and its duration, and whether you’re a solo worker or part of a team.
Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.
It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with Galt Collective, who is more than happy to help out.
Yes, you can certainly take a tour of the space before signing up for a membership. In fact, it’s encouraged, to help you get a feel for what your workday will look like. Schedule a tour here by filling out the form along with the date and time when you would like to visit the space and we’ll see you there.
