I’ve really enjoyed using this shared coworking space. The amenities are fantastic (adjustable desks, monitors, kitchen, lounging areas, etc), and the team is welcoming and responsive. The entire space is thoughtfully planned. Great place to work, highly recommend!

City of Vancouver is fortunate to have an organization like 221A. A non-profit championing artists—and a sustainable way to support them—in a town and market that's been driving them away for years. I've seen how 221A treats staff, visitors, curators renters and creatives—they set the bar that I wish more organizations would aim for. If you get a chance please visit the space, hear their story, lend your support. If you're looking for a space to work and grow I highly recommend it.

Coworking spaces typically have limited storage options, most of which are reserved for members with dedicated desks or private offices. With that said, it’s best to contact the coworking operator directly via the form on the right side of the page to learn about available storage options.

The open desk is the way to go if you’re looking for a flexible workspace in an open environment where you can socialize with other members. Or, choose a dedicated desk if you want a designated space that also allows you to keep in touch with the community.
A private office works wonders if you or your team need a quiet, secluded space to conduct your work and interact with people in your organization.
It’s important to understand the different types of coworking arrangements available to you, depending on the type of work that you do and its duration, and whether you’re a solo worker or part of a team.

Most, if not all, amenities are available to you as a member, regardless of the type of membership. Some shared spaces, like the meeting rooms, need to be booked in advance and private offices are only available for those with a subscription. However, all the other areas, like the lounge, kitchen and breakout spaces, are usable by every member. All complimentary services are available and anything ancillary can be purchased or negotiated with 221A.
