Very thankful for the BBB. Without them, many consumer complaints would never get the attention they deserve. They make a real difference.

I just want to counter some of the negative comments that have been posted here. The BBB's role in the marketplace is important but sometimes gets misunderstood. My business has been accredited for over a decade. I've had a great experience and have enjoyed many benefits. I've also served on the board and have seen how the organization operates - which is to say they follow their polices and code of ethics without fail. However, it is a challenge when it comes to consumer complaints. At the end of the day the BBB only has the authority to accredit trustworthy businesses...and conversely revoke accreditation (or downgrade ratings) for businesses that don't live up to the BBB's code of ethics and policies. There are many additional benefits for businesses that actively participate in the BBB's networking events, educational workshops, deals, discounts and so on. And yes, thousands of people a month are using the BBB website to find trustworthy local businesses which does generate leads. But, at it's core, the BBB is an accreditation provider that operates under a quasi-franchise model. Much of the strategic direction for the broader, 114-year old organization is driven by a group of mostly US decision-makers. Sound complicated? It is. Our local BBB staff are doing an amazing job.

"I was a member for over ten years, and after retiring and canceling my membership, they placed a bold, red sentence on my page stating my business wasn't accredited. I feel like this is unfair and misleading and essentially ripping off customers

  • Yes, you can certainly take a tour of the space before signing up for a membership. In fact, it’s encouraged, to help you get a feel for what your workday will look like. Reach out here to set up a time to come and see the space.

  • Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.

It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with Better Business Bureau, who is more than happy to help out.
