Zero stars I wasted time and energy submitting a complaint for review. They did nothing aside from receive my request. Confirm the other party’s response and close the case as answered, though the company that responded did not resolve the issue. My case included proof and it did not matter. They just consider response from the other party as a acceptable Do not waste your time!

Don't be fooled by the name. The Better Business Bureau does not care about your case and in fact, bluntly sides with fraudulent businesses. I tried to resolve a case through this org when a business knowingly hid the fact that manufacturer warranty was cancelled on a laptop it sold. After weeks of delayed, fruitless communication where the seller continues to send deceitful messages and play delay tactic, this org's agent, Merlyn and the manager, Andrew, marked the case status as "Answered". When I confronted them in e-mail about the case status, they did not respond for weeks at first, then when they finally responded after multiple atttempts to contact, they actually sided with the fraudulent business and refused to reopen my case. For an org that claims to help customers against bad actors in business, they should be shut down for doing the exact opposite - helping fraudulent businesses stay alive and well.

I had a deeply upsetting experience with a staff member named Harvey at Coal Harbour Housing Coop. I paid him $1500 for repairs he promised to complete, but he never showed up or follow through. On top of that, his behaviour toward me at one point was extremely inappropriate.

APPLIANCE REPAIR EXPERT: I hired them to repair my Samsung Induction stove that died on me September 2. They made a service call to determine what the problem was. I paid him $147.00, with in a day or so I received an invoice for $527.00 that said pay now, which was to cover the actual repair that they had identified. I did pay them on the 4th Sept. During the next 30+ days I phoned [numbers from their web page] probably around 15 calls, with out a reply from any of them . Many emails were sent to inquire about the progress of my repair . No one responded to any of my queries ! I Contacted the CEO via the web page, with out a response. I lodged a dispute for the payment with my bank they had 30 days to respond which they did not so now my Bank is in the process of retrieving my money. Do NOT recommend them to any one they have VERY bad business records. Jan Joynt

BBB has some of the worst customer service you could ever imagine. All they seem to want as a business is your money. I don't think they got the memo that they are no longer the arbiter of what a good or highly rated business is anymore and are fast becoming obsolete. If they understood this, they perhaps would have a kinder and more thankful attitude towards their paid members. **It is like a bad joke that the company who rates how other companies treat their clientele, treat their own clientele like crap.** That is why we won't be renewing our membership. A little kindness and thankfulness for 20 years of being a client could have saved them from losing us but their attitude is so awful. I also would not have written this review. Too bad, so sad.
