UPDATE: Regus Kelowna: Positive Steps Forward, But Room for Improvement As a psychotherapist and founder of a group practice, I’ve been a tenant of Regus Kelowna since 2021. After some recent challenges, I’m pleased to share that progress is being made, though a few key concerns remain. Positive Progress: The loud, persistent beeping from the server room outside my office—an issue that disrupted trauma therapy sessions for weeks—has been resolved. I appreciate that after raising the issue multiple times, a higher-up manager finally stepped in and took action. Ongoing Issues: The aging carpets, which are visibly rippled and separating from the concrete, remain a concern for multiple tenants. However, I’ve been reassured by management that this issue is on their radar, and I’m hopeful they will follow through with the promised improvements. A Note on the Local Team: The reception and sales teams here are nothing short of incredible. Their dedication, warmth, and professionalism have been the reason I’ve continued renting this space, despite the challenges. My frustrations lie with the larger corporate structure of Regus, not with the local team, who go above and beyond to support us. I’m optimistic that with the right attention from higher management, Regus can restore its reputation as a provider of upscale, professional office spaces. I look forward to seeing the promised improvements take shape.Regus Kelowna: A Disappointing Decline in Professional Office Space ____________ (initial review) As a psychotherapist and founder of a group practice, I've been a loyal Regus tenant since 2021. However, the recent decline in service and facility maintenance has left me questioning this choice. For six weeks, I've endured: 1.) Persistent, loud beeping from the server room directly outside my office, disrupting sensitive trauma therapy sessions 2.) A disconnected business landline, crucial for patient communication. Multiple escalations have fallen on deaf ears, with no compensation offered for business disruptions. While the reception staff are outstanding, they lack the authority to address these problems effectively. Regus management seem indifferent to these serious issues affecting my practice and clients' well-being. Additionally, the carpets in our offices are so old that they are visibly rippled and separated from the concrete. Despite widespread complaints from multiple tenants, Regus has done NOTHING. It's disheartening to see such a stark contrast between Regus' reputation for upscale, professional office spaces and the current reality. What has kept me here is the community and the people in this space, that are a function of the front desk team who actually care about our experience here - not the global soulless corporation of Regus and IWG.
