Reviews
I needed a quiet office/ co-working space for a couple hours while waiting for my flight out of Edmonton airport. I called around a few spots and got a variety of quotes, but when I talk to Jamie at The Light House, I knew this was gonna be the spot for me. What a fantastic day working and getting to know a community a little bit at the same time. Next time I’m travelling to Edmonton, this will be the first thing I book. Highlights from my experience: - warm and inviting - great Internet speeds so I was able to conduct video calls/ and download the recordings after - really quiet and peaceful. The other people working in the space spoke in low voices and whispers whenever they were in the public areas - so I didn’t have any distractions while I worked :) - loved that there is coffee and baked goods available, and a filtered water tap to refill my water bottle (it’s the small things like that- that really make me feel like I’m working from home) - I also really enjoyed that during my lunch break I was able to walk around downtown Leduc and enjoy a lot of little shops and bakeries.
The light house co-work space is a great place to work. I had a office with them for 5 months and during that time met lots of people and helped make leduc feel like home. The space is clean and bright.
Nice place
This place is such a wonderful, quiet, welcoming space amidst the chaos of life! I travelled to visit a colleague of mine who has an office here and it was the perfect retreat. The co-working space allowed me both to travel to visit a friend and also work from one of their rented offices. The space itself has warm lighting, bright colours, and all different kinds of seating and spaces to suit your needs. The office I rented was incredibly reasonably priced, had a big window, a desk, and even a monitor to use while there. It was everything I needed to complete my work. As a human who is autistic and has ADHD, the various lighting, rugs, cooler temperatures (with optional space heaters), and large spaces provided a sensory heaven! PLUS they have the most delicious latte machine I’ve ever encountered … and I travel a LOT. Worth it for the lattes alone. Lighthouse also provides you with a snack cart filled with a ton of different options and a fridge for lunches, etc. If I lived *anywhere* in the vicinity, I’d rent a private office in a heartbeat. 10/10 worth it.
If you haven't had a chance to visit this gem and staple of the Leduc business community, you are truly missing out. This is a beautiful, well-kept and welcoming space for all. Whether you are attending an event, renting a meeting room or coming for a place to work, this space is inspiring and the staff and members are helpful, kind and supportive. I love being part of the Light House Cowork community.

It’s important to understand the different types of coworking arrangements available to you, depending on the type of work that you do and its duration, and whether you’re a solo worker or part of a team.
-
Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.
It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with The Light House Cowork, who is more than happy to help out.
