The South Yarra Commons is the BEST co-working space! T, Ben, Brooke and all staff are fantastic. Love the facilities, events, people and everything about the space. Highly recommend, especially for smaller teams looking for a collaborative and friendly office space to work in.

If I could give 6 stars, I would. T, Brooke, Ben, and the incredible team (past and present) have made The Commons South Yarra the best co-working space in Australia, not just Melbourne. I joined over two years ago with my company, and in that time, I’ve grown professionally beyond recognition and made lifelong friends. Why? Because the staff here make coming into the office something to look forward to. They’re always up for a chat, constantly organising fun and inclusive events, not just after-work drinks, but sober socials too. I’ve worked in other Commons locations and co-working spaces, and South Yarra truly sets the bar when it comes to atmosphere, layout, and cleanliness. If you're considering a new workspace, give The Commons South Yarra a try, you won’t regret it. Plus, it’s right next to Leonard’s, the best pub on the south side, so Friday knock-offs are always good fun.

Absolutely love love love our office space at the Commons South Yarra. After years of WFH or in soulless, dreary co working spaces, this place is next level. The team onsite are fantastic - where else would you get chocolate mousse and cocktails delivered to your desk? Our furry friends are welcomed. The Commons have knocked community vibes out of the park. Highly recommended!!

Where do I even start! The Commons community here is truly next level. From the warm and endlessly helpful team — Brooke, T, Ben, and every staff member (and their dogs!) — to the incredible mix of entrepreneurs and businesses that share the space, I’ve never worked in a more success-inspiring and creative environment. Where else do you get free Monday Yoga and Thursday Meditation sessions? Or surprise bunches of flowers for Mother’s Day and Valentine’s Day? The thoughtfulness and generosity that go into creating this space are unmatched. The Commons isn’t just a place to work — it’s a place that genuinely fuels inspiration, wellbeing and connection.

Yes, you can certainly take a tour of the space before signing up for a membership. In fact, it’s encouraged, to help you get a feel for what your workday will look like. Schedule a tour here by filling out the form along with the date and time when you would like to visit the space and we’ll see you there.

The open desk is the way to go if you’re looking for a flexible workspace in an open environment where you can socialize with other members. Or, choose a dedicated desk if you want a designated space that also allows you to keep in touch with the community.

Most, if not all, amenities are available to you as a member, regardless of the type of membership. Some shared spaces, like the meeting rooms, need to be booked in advance and private offices are only available for those with a subscription. However, all the other areas, like the lounge, kitchen and breakout spaces, are usable by every member. All complimentary services are available and anything ancillary can be purchased or negotiated with The Commons.
