It's a nice space, but as many others have mentioned they have not paid my security bond back. It's quite literally now been 2 years and i'm still sending emails asking them for it. It no longer feels like an administration error and because of this I would recommend everyone avoid this co working space and use one of the many other great ones in the area.

CreativeCubes South Melbourne is one of those rare workspaces that instantly makes you feel like you belong. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and genuinely upbeat—like the space is rooting for you to have a good day and get things done. A huge part of that experience is the staff. Everyone is friendly and helpful, but Kendall deserves a special shoutout. Kendall brings a level of care and attentiveness that’s hard to find—always approachable, always kind, and somehow always one step ahead in making sure members feel supported. It’s the kind of service that turns a coworking space into a community. Another underrated perk: the nearby walking track. It’s perfect for a quick reset between meetings, a lunchtime stroll, or building healthier habits into the workday without having to overthink it. That simple ability to step out, move your body, and come back refreshed makes a real difference. And then there’s the location—absolutely unbeatable. Being so close to South Melbourne Market means great food, coffee, and all the little essentials are right there whenever you need them. Whether you’re grabbing lunch with a colleague, picking up something on a break, or treating yourself after a productive session, it’s incredibly convenient. All up, CreativeCubes South Melbourne nails the balance: professional and productive, but also friendly, human, and energising. It’s a place that makes you want to come in—and makes it easy to do your best work once you’re there.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes, you can certainly take a tour of the space before signing up for a membership. In fact, it’s encouraged, to help you get a feel for what your workday will look like. Reach out here to set up a time to come and see the space.

  • If you’re seeking flexible access, the monthly membership at 607 Bourke Street provides 24/7 access to our workspace. Hourly and day passes, however, are typically limited to regular business hours.

  • For spontaneous collaboration and interaction, open desks provide an open and flexible environment. If you prefer a dedicated space with shared community elements, dedicated desks offer a great balance between personal space and interaction.

On the other hand, private offices are best suited for focused work and private interactions. They're ideal for solo workers as well as teams seeking a dedicated space, shielded from distractions.

Choosing the ideal coworking arrangement for you is about aligning your workspace with your work style, team dynamics, and project requirements.

  • Coworking spaces typically have limited storage options, most of which are reserved for members with dedicated desks or private offices. With that said, it’s best to contact the coworking operator directly via the form on the right side of the page to learn about available storage options.

  • Whether you're a day pass holder or a monthly member, you can access most amenities. Meeting rooms do require prior scheduling, and private offices are reserved for those with subscriptions. However, the lounge, kitchen, and breakout spaces are open to all. Complimentary services are also available regardless of membership tier, while ancillary services can be purchased separately or negotiated with Corporate Cubes.
