I worked at the Roast for about 12 months but recently moved from Newcastle. I checked out a bunch of co-working spaces prior to asking the Roost if I could join. I'm so glad I did. The people are amazing, friendly and there's a real community spirit here. I miss the place and the people. If you're a person looking for an awesome community to grow in and have a positive attitude, I'd highly recommend this place.

Sometimes I wonder how our practice would be if we didn’t move into the roost 2 years ago. The industry related connections have been outstanding, likewise, the assistance from various other talented people have made our website, email, logo, marketing at another level that I don’t think we would have gotten if we stayed where we were. Completely impressed with the idea of The Roost as not for profit organisation & helping people build and grow their businesses especially this gentleman in the picture below is a true legend who explained everything to me and I thought he is the manager here and later I discovered he is also having a office at this place and just supporting the cause of The Roost to help others.
