Not welcoming. The librarian came over and asked me to move my van, tried to say it was because it's big, and elderly people need to access the library. I took a photo of how I was parked for reference. I'm always very mindful when I have to reverse park not to block access or footpaths. There was plenty of space for access. Mind you, this is the most accessible library I've ever been to; there is 2 more large sets of stairs not in my photo, and 2 ramps for wheelchair/walker/scooter etc users, but they are actually located down the other end of the carpark, so no one with those mobility aids would need access to this entrance at all. Along with the asking me how long I was in the area for (not in the friendly making conversation way) felt like she was just looking for a reason to make me feel unwelcome just because I live in a van 🤷

The air conditioning is very very strong, I'm freezing and I'm wearing a coat, it's not even 20 degrees outside... I don't think there's any need!

Comfortable place to work, study, or snuggle up with a book. Spent the day here catching up on work. A haven from the wild wind, rough seas and memories of a soggy night camping.
