Continuing its expansion into the U.S. coworking market, Colombia-based operator Verde Colab has announced the purchase of flex office HudsonDesk, located at 7000 JFK Blvd. E. in Guttenberg, N.J.<\/p>\n

HudsonDesk provided dedicated workspaces, a private office, semi-private curtained team pods, a call booth, and a creative studio, and is equipped with a kitchenette, outdoor terrace and garage parking. Verde Colab will personalize the shared workspace by changing the branding and adjusting the operating model.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I first saw HudsonDesk, what stood out wasn\u2019t just the space, it was the opportunity to build something really unique in a market that doesn\u2019t have enough options like this,\u201d said Christopher Heffernan, founder of Verde Colab, in a statement<\/a>. \u201cYou have an incredible view of Manhattan, garage parking, a beautifully designed space, and a community of people who already use it to work and create. It gives us a great foundation to bring the Verde experience to North Jersey while keeping the character that made HudsonDesk special.\u201d<\/p>\n

The coworking space is within a 13-minute walk of three shopping centers, while nearby eateries include O2 K-BBQ and Rumba Cubana. The bus stop, located right in front of the building \u2014 along with the Port Imperial Rail, a two-minute drive away \u2014 makes the space accessible to professionals and small teams who want to be close to Manhattan, but who don\u2019t want to deal with the New York City commute.<\/p>\n

\u201cI built HudsonDesk because I needed a place to work that was quiet, inspiring and close to Manhattan,\u201d said Hosam Hassan, founder of HudsonDesk. \u201cNothing like that existed in this part of Hudson County. When Chris shared his vision for HudsonDesk with me, I immediately knew that the Verde Colab team had exactly what it would take to grow it into something really special. I\u2019m excited to see Chris and his team bring a whole new experience to our Hudson County neighborhoods.\u201d<\/p>\n
