The Michigan Central Mezz, a 17,000-square-foot work and collaboration space located within the restored Michigan Central Station, opened this April.<\/p>\n
The new, 24\/7 coworking space offers a range of work setups, including desks, meeting rooms and quiet zones. Besides these work areas, the Mezz also provides private wellness rooms; a kitchen; views of both the ground floor of the Station and the surrounding neighborhoods; and access to the district\u2019s fitness center with showers and lockers.<\/p>\n
Entry to the Mezz is based on Michigan Central memberships, which start at $300 per month. Members also receive exclusive access to workshops, presentations, and networking events, as well as IT services, printing, and mail handling, along with exposure to venture capital firms, university programs and industry partners.<\/p>\n

Michigan Central is a tech and cultural hub in Detroit, housed in the refurbished historic rail station. Its founding partners include Ford Motor Company, Google, the State of Michigan, the City of Detroit, Henry Ford Health and Newlab \u2014 a 270,000-square-foot startup hub that the Mezz will work closely with.<\/p>\n
