FOUNDRY\u2019s second London coworking space has recently opened its doors, as part of the flagship New Acres development in Wandsworth. The new flex workspace was created by Interaction, a Bath-based workplace design company, with the aim of bringing businesses together in a collaborative and inspiring environment.<\/p>\n
Private offices, dedicated workstations, and a boutique coworking lounge are all part of the coworking facility. In addition to more than 1,000 new residences, New Acres is a brand-new build-to-rent complex with independent stores and hospitality establishments.<\/p>\n
The new coworking space from FOUNDRY, its second in London, is 14,000 square feet spread across two stories. On the mezzanine level, there is a sizable social breakout area that serves as a hub for FOUNDRY members.\u00a0 There is a central courtyard where members can mingle.<\/p>\n
Like the rest of the development, it was designed by Interaction to meet BREEAM outstanding sustainable building certification. The new coworking space has received an A rating from the Energy Performance Certificate (EPC). All of the wood used comes from certified FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) sustainable sources, and no paint or other products include volatile organic compounds that release harmful emissions.<\/p>\n
Interaction has incorporated a double-height gallery wall featuring limited-edition screenprints by local London artists, maximizing the space’s tall windows that let in plenty of natural light. In addition to its new Wandsworth facility, FOUNDRY also has flexible workspaces in Eastbourne, Poole, and Walthamstow, London.<\/p>\n
