Cities with no coworking spaces were excluded.<\/p>\n<p>The cities analyzed were ranked based on their total scores, with higher scores indicating better overall conditions for remote workers. Metrics were then assigned a weight based on their importance in determining the overall attractiveness of a city. The base categories, underlying metrics and their weights in the final score were as follows:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>The average flight cost for a round trip<\/strong> (indirectly proportional) \u2013 25% of the total index \u2013 We considered the cheapest airfare from three different sources: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.momondo.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Momondo.com<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skyscanner.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Skyscanner.com<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cheapoair.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cheapoair.com<\/a>. The flights analyzed were for 1.08-31.08.2023, searched one month in advance, and represent the cost for one adult in economy\/coach.
