The tiffany glass art is stellar and hidden in plain sight from most tourists. You’ll need to see it in-person but check the hours before trekking over to see it.

Great company to publish and promote books! 10/10 service.

I spent $6K working with Curtis to publish two books, and then they scammed me out of another $9K by telling me they were going to send four people to the London Book Fair to exclusively talk about my two books and promote them to thousands of people. Now the real story. They promised that they would work with me to edit the book and publish the book, only to discover that they used AI to generate the first book cover, and the second book cover was so far off target that I had to supply them the artwork, and they basically used my artwork for the second book cover. In editing, they made a few punctuation changes but didn't revise the book or provide professional feedback. Basically, they corrected mistakes and then did something I could have done without paying for their service: they used my Amazon account to upload the books. So if you are thinking about publishing a book with Curtis, save your money; they are only looking to take your money and offer zero added value to your work. Let's look at the scam they ran on the London Book Fair. Once again, they are telling me that my book was amazing and that they will only focus on promoting it to people who purchase book, television, and movie rights. I was supposed to have a dedicated booth at the event, only to discover that they had my information on a rolling television slide show, and it wasn't even correct. They used my personal business information and website, which would have confused anyone looking to purchase licenses or buy rights. When I addressed this, I was told that I would be given the full disclosure on everyone they were talking to. It's been nearly two months, and crickets! I have sent several emails to them, but haven't received any responses. I'm sorry, but this company is predatory and often misleads authors. I am embarrassed by how I feel about the lies and misrepresentation of this publisher. I thought I did my due diligence and found a trustworthy company, but the reality is that they are nothing more than a shark preying on the minnows looking to publish a book. And sadly, you have zero recourse to get your money back.

This Georgian style building stands at the corner of South Sixth and Walnut Streets near the Jewelers’ Row District. Its most famous publications, as listed on a metal plaque affixed to the side of its building, were The Saturday Evening Post (known for its covers painted by Norman Rockwell), Ladies’ Home Journal, Jack and Jill, Holiday, and American Home. Today, the company primarily deals in licensing.
