Open Desk Coworking | The Idea Kitchen

I've spent hundreds of dollars here for years and hadn't been in a year or so. Had a really weird interaction with the founder...apparently they changed their system, and when I came in there was no one to help me sign up. I logged into my old account which had a card on file....couldn't find an option to buy a pass so I assumed I'd be charged for the time there. Then I couldn't book a room...I was told to not use the app and just scan the QR code...did that. Followed instructions. Asked for help from other people who answered "I don't know." I had to take a call so I grabbed a tiny closet so I wouldn't disturb anyone. Was on calls from 10 to 1 when the founder came by and gave me the "wrap it up" hand motion. I don't think anyone was waiting for the closet I was in? Came out and he spoke to me in a rude, accusatory tone in front of the entire office because I hadn't bought a day pass. I explained I tried but wasn't sure if I did it right and there was no one to help. It was a really icky interaction... Don't think I'll be going back. I'm surprised they don't value returning customers. I hear Carr workspaces is good and it's cheaper.

Outstanding coworking space, solid community, exemplary team always accommodating member & guest needs. Been the most reliable aspect of WFH for the past five years!

I’ve been working out of The Idea Kitchen for years now and it’s been an incredible place to run my business. The environment is perfect; quiet, professional, and really easy to focus in, which is exactly what I need day to day. Adam, who runs it, is awesome. He handles everything on the office side so I can just show up and focus on my work without thinking about anything else. That’s been a huge advantage. It’s a great setup and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a shared workspace that actually helps you get things done.

Good working location, but pretty poor* inventory management which results in poor customer outreach. Received an email accusing me of taking a $5 adapter I never rented. Not planning on returning lest they accuse me again of stealing air.

Great coworking space when you want to change atmosphere during working hours.
