Conference Room 1 | The Yard: Gowanus

The Yard was my home away from home for months when my consulting business became especially busy in 2024 and this year. The place was always clean and the staff was welcoming. It was actually kind of life-affirming that there was a place so close by where you could go, get out of the heat and humidity, put your stuff down, get a ton of work done, eat lunch in peace, make phone calls, have great wifi, and be able to stretch out on a couch when you needed to. I had a great experience at the Columbus Ave location as well, but Gowanus was my home base. There was even a wine and cheese tasting event when I was there, which was a lot of fun, and a bunch of us watched the World Cup in a conference room. I recently started a new full-time job and spent my final weeks of the transition there. I miss the experience, and saying good morning to Lara as I walked in with my coffee. Working full time from an office is great, but the last four years were a special time in my life. The Yard was a big part of that.

I love working in this space! They have a coworking space with HUGE windows and the natural light has had such a positive impact on my work day. The coffee is delicious, and the Community Managers, Lara and Tate, are the best!

Great location! Cant wait to go back.

Nice place in park slope

Nice place, but you'd think that a co-working space would have some soundproofing. there is none. voices carry out of the offices and "phone booths" as if the glass doors aren't even there.
