I took the 18 hr ccw course this weekend and let me say that I'm glad I chose this place. The environment is friendly the instructor Shawn, was absolutely well informed and made the class interesting. I would recommend it to any family or friends. All the staff is super helpful. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience.

I just completed the 18-hour safety course for my CCW and had an excellent experience. Shawn was extremely knowledgeable and went way beyond what was required. You can tell right away he has real-world experience — over 20+ years in law enforcement, personal protection, and as a weapons specialist — and he actually knows how to teach it in a way that sticks. The class was informative, engaging, and practical. I learned a lot more than I expected going into it, not just about the legal requirements but real-life situations and mindset as well. I’m very glad I chose BVAC “Medicine in Bad Places” and wouldn’t recommend going anywhere else. If you’re serious about getting properly trained, this is the place to go.

My instructor was Steven Turner for their two-day firearms safety training. He was patient, polite, and brought an incredibly positive energy throughout both days — a genuine mentor from start to finish. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained, and I found parking surprisingly easy for a commercial area. The staff was welcoming and kind, the coffee was flowing in the kitchen area on the first floor, and — bonus points — there's an adorable Pomeranian that roams the facility and adds a nice touch to the atmosphere. I highly recommend this place for any of their offered trainings, especially if you value good energy, a welcoming environment, and quality instruction.
