BrightWorks 777 is in the heart of Washtenaw County’s most prosperous office and retail neighborhood within the Eisenhower Corridor of downtown Ann Arbor, and has 34 private offices, one large, shared space for coworking, and three meeting rooms. The 777 Building is home to Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea, as well as an on-site fitness center.

Both BrightWorks locations offer networking events and meetups, as well as free and open coworking on the third Wednesday of each month. Other perks for BrightWorks members include free parking, free espresso and coffee drinks, free copying and printing, and free wi-fi. Audio/visual equipment and video conferencing come standard with all meeting rooms. Memberships, and meeting room reservations, are available via the business’ website, which offers 24/7 access to the space and instantaneous bookings.

BrightWorks’ 777 location was such a great find for me. I was still pretty new to Michigan when I joined, and it gave me a comfortable and welcoming place to work. Kate and Katie were always so kind, helpful, and accommodating. They even helped me reserve quiet spaces for a few virtual interviews, which I really appreciated. I mainly worked from the open coworking area, and it was always quiet, comfortable, and well equipped. Having access to monitors was a huge plus for me and made it much easier to stay productive. Everyone else using the space was also friendly, respectful, and considerate. I also loved the little details, especially the plants you could check out and keep at your workspace for the day. They hosted several events and free coworking days while I was there, and every so often they would bring in a yummy breakfast, like bagels from Barry’s. It really is a great space, and I’m so grateful for how welcome they made me feel. I would absolutely recommend BrightWorks to anyone looking for a coworking space in Ann Arbor.

As an HR/OD consultant for over 55 years, I've been in hundreds, if not thousands of workplaces, started and sold two companies that had multiple offices each, and watched as the nature of work shifted from on-site to remote and back and forth. I have recently been in the Brightworks CoWorking spaces and found them focused on client needs to maximize productivity, offering a broader range of services and amenities than other co-working places, and incredible friendly and competent staff. Kate Arbour and Ashley Johnson provide service and support without hesitation. Benefits keep getting added, like workshops and gym access to the already existing beverage options, copier, internet, supplies, adjustable furniture and much more. I strongly recommend Brightworks as a place for a full or part-time office, ongoing or one-off, or whatever. It's a great place to work.
