We stopped in for lunch today and had a really good experience overall. I had the lobster salad roll and my husband had the Connecticut-style lobster roll, and both were delicious. The lobster rolls were huge and packed with plenty of lobster, and everything came out in a timely manner. Our waitress, who I believe was Jessica, was absolutely wonderful. She was so pleasant, attentive, and did an amazing job. The restaurant became very busy during lunch, and there were only two girls working, but they were constantly running around and somehow seemed to have everything under control. Our waitress did apologize and let us know they were short-staffed, but honestly, you wouldn't have known it from the way they handled everything. They were doing a great job and never stopped moving. The atmosphere was also really nice, and I loved the fall decorations throughout the restaurant. It made the space feel warm and welcoming. The fireplaces were also a nice touch. The one thing that really bothered me during our visit was hearing a man in the kitchen, who I believe was wearing glasses, yelling at the waitresses and using profanity toward them. As a customer sitting in the dining room, it was extremely uncomfortable and unpleasant to listen to. What made it worse was that these girls were clearly doing everything they could to keep up with a very busy lunch, and they were doing a great job despite being short-staffed. They were polite, attentive, and working nonstop, so hearing someone speak to them that way was disappointing to witness. I completely understand that restaurants can get hectic and stressful, especially when you're short-staffed. But there is a big difference between managing a busy kitchen and publicly berating employees who are simply trying to do their jobs. If there are issues that need to be addressed with staff, that should be handled respectfully and away from customers. The waitresses deserved credit for how hard they were working, not to be yelled at and sworn at. Overall, the food was delicious, the portions were generous, the atmosphere was great, and our waitress was fantastic. The two women working the floor deserve a lot of credit for keeping things moving during such a busy lunch. I would definitely come back for the food and service, but I hope management takes a closer look at how the front-of-house staff is being treated behind the scenes. If it wasn’t for the person yelling I would have given five stars!

We revisited this restaurant and so glad that we did. The Restaurant has undergone a remodel and we were so happy with the extensive menu the fresh seafood, the excellent service and of course the beautiful ambience. Nelly anticipated our every need and had a very sweet disposition we ordered everything from lobsters to clams, steamers and of course, we had to have the five layer chocolate cake which was to die for. We can’t wait to go back… thank you all for the best Labor Day evening! The Browns’ and Andersons’.
